It's the grand finale - the showdown between Zemo and Bucky Barnes, and even if Bucky can survive a second trip to Zemo's island his world will never be the same after what Helmut Zemo has done to it. Plus a NOMAD back-up by Sean McKeever & Filipe Andrade.

From the company that introduced American audiences to Brazilian twins Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá (Daytripper, Pixu) comes a new hardcover edition of Dark Horse's out-of-print De:Tales, a collection of the twins' breakthrough short stories!

After three Eisner Awards and a series of acclaimed projects with writers Joss Whedon (Sugarshock), Gerard Way (The Umbrella Academy), Mike Mignola (B.P.R.D.: 1947), and Matt Fraction (Casanova), Moon and Bá are now among the hottest artists in comics. De:Tales is the duo's most personal work to date, presenting their work separately, together, and in tandem-as the twins trade off on the roles of writing and illustrating, share those roles, or fly solo. Brimming with all the details of human life, their charming tales move from the urban reality of their home in São Paulo to the magical realism of their Latin American background.

Featuring a brand-new cover, Moon and Bá's seminal and sought-after work is finally back in this handsome hardcover packaging, proving once again that they are a talented pair to watch out for.

This special #0 issue carves its story from Robert Rodriguez's upcoming "Grindhouse" flick, Machete! In this introductory issue, which will lead into an all-new series in December, Rodriguez himself, alongside producer Aaron Kaufman, pens the ultimate "Mexploitation" tale of revenge as we see what drew Machete to first pick up the blades...

Writer/artist RYAN KINNAIRD (X-Men: Phoenix - Legacy of Fire, PSM) pens a titillating and comedic tale, as the female embodied video game consoles FoxBox630 and ESexy3 battle for supremacy. The greatest conflict for disposable income begins!

Heroclix Tourney tomorrow!

Just a reminder we're having a Heroclix tourney at the shop tomorrow @ 2pm! It's 400 pts Golden Age and we've got Venom LEs for prizes!

Free Movie Watch

If you have Comcast there's two notable movies available for free On Demand right now.

The first is The Cottage starring Reece Shearsmith (The League of Gentlemen, Psychoville) and Andy Serkis (y'know Gollum). The UK trailer's here.

The other is [REC], the original Spanish horror film that was adapted domestically as Quarantine. [REC] is superior (imho) and has spawned a sequel in Spain with more in the works. (I'm a Balaguero fan and suggest you track down Los sin nombre, Darkness, Fragile, and To Let as well.) (Mike)

Deadpool Merc With A Mouth Homage Cover-palooza

Deadpool Merc with a Mouth has completed it's 13-issue run and I thought it would be fun to look back at all the A covers for that series (which were all homages) and the inspirations for each. More after the jump...

Generation X TV Movie

Shared my hazy recollections of this with one of our awesome customers today (I forget this stuff may be before a lot of people's time) and thought I'd post it here in case you guys hadn't heard of this. It's the Generation X made-for-TV movie that aired on Fox in the mid-90s. It's terrible. But an interesting artifact from the days before comic adaptations were good. (Mike)

Batman: Arkham City Screenshots

This is going to be epic. See Rock Paper Shotgun for more.

JLA/The 99

October will see the release of the first issue of JLA/The 99, a crossover between DC Comics and Teshkeel Comics.

I found this fascinating talk on TED by Naif Al-Mutawa, the creator of The 99. If you're interested in who or what The 99 are, check it out below.
