No Heroics scribe to script Runaways movie

From Bleeding Cool:
Now it’s reported that the series writer and producer, Drew Pearce, is writing the screenplay adapting Brian K Vaughn’s Marvel series, Runaways, to the big screen. About a bunch of powered-up supervillain’s kids who go on the run.
Drew Pearce wrote the ITV series No Heroics (It's a shame there isn't a second series on the horizon). Here's a NSFW clip from the series. (Mike)

Watchmen Heroclix Collector's Set

The Watchmen set for Heroclix is scheduled for release 7/21. If you're interested in getting this set let us know, we probably won't be shelf stocking it. It retails for $99.99 and we'll be selling it for $75.00 for pre-orders.

Description: Watchmen. DC Comics' best-selling graphic novel took readers on a journey into a world where superheroes really existed and explored how the existence of masked heroes would alter world history. Visionary director Zack Snyder brought that groundbreaking vision to film in 2009's Watchmen adaptation, bringing to life the characters and the world so ably drawn by British artist Dave Gibbons. HeroClix players can now campaign in the world of Watchmen with the HeroClix Watchmen Collector's Set which includes 25 highly detailed miniatures of the film's characters, including Dr. Manhattan, Rorschach, Nite Owl, and Silk Spectre. Each figure features a sculpt based on the character's appearance in the film, and they are compatible with other HeroClix sets, allowing you to pit your favorite characters against the heroes and villains of Watchmen.

For decades, Daken has waited for the moment that has now finally arrived. In one fell swoop, Daken plans to both destroy his father and achieve his destiny. The streets of Ankara run red with blood as Daken faces off against...Romulus!

From Matt Cirulnick and David Manpearl comes a modern-day reimagining of the classic western hero, Wyatt Earp, in a special $1.00 issue #0 preview of the upcoming, 3-issue miniseries.
In a world where the American economy has all but collapsed to the levels of the Great Depression, infamous bandits roam the country and the law is as corrupt as the criminals it's sworn to stop. Yet one lawman remains a steadfast moral compass for the people: WYATT EARP. Earp has collared more most-wanted men than anyone in history - but after a violent assignment claims the life of his brother, Wyatt sets out to forge a simple life in the only boomtown left: Las Vegas. With gorgeous women and free-flowing money on endless tap, Sin City attracts more people than a modern gold rush. Though Earp no longer wears a U.S. Marshall's badge, his past is about to catch up to him. \With nearly everything to lose, Earp will have to beat the odds stacked against him in order to bring old fashion justice to Sin City.

BRIGHTEST DAY shines its light on the "New Guardians" who have been forced to make Earth their new home! Why? You'll have to read it to believe it. While Hal is forced to deal with Larfleeze and his newfound appreciation for Earth culture, Sinestro uncovers the mystery behind Parallax's disappearance.

Who are the Secret Avengers?  Are they a covert team of heroes working the darkest corners of the globe to stop disaster? Are they part-spy, part-superhero? Are they XXXXXXX's newest idea to save the world...or all they all of the above?  A new era begins as Marvel's hottest team takes a 21st century twist!
