Kirkman's Outcast Pilot filming!

The TV adaptation of OUTCAST BY KIRKMAN & AZACETA is now officially shooting its pilot episode in South Carolina! The crew is already assembling and getting ready to shoot and some Skybound staff will be heading out to join them in the next few weeks. In case you missed the news, a bunch of key players have been announced. Patrick Fugit (Kyle Barnes), Philip Glenister (Reverend Anderson), Kip Pardue (Mark Holter—Kyle’s brother-in-law and local police officer), and more! Check out all the casting news at Skybound.com!

First Production Still from Walking Dead

Wow. Looks great. I've always liked Tommy Lee Edwards and his work on Millar's Marvel 1985 was outstanding. More details of Ross and Edwards Turf #1 at CBR/Robot 6.

Walking Dead #1
Newsarama has the first issue of the fantastic zombie comic The Walking Dead up for free here.
We can't recommend this book enough, it's more about the survivors than the zombies (although there's plenty of horrific zombie moments) and remains compelling as the story twists and turns over several years of development. A Walking Dead TV series is slated to appear on AMC.
