Starting this week (first day affected will be Oct. 8th), changes to our operating hours on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays will take effect. Our full schedule will be:
With the reported death of the mass market paperback across the U.S. we decided it was time to do our part in keeping genre fiction alive and circulating. We're bringing in some used genre paperbacks as well as the now-more-common trade paperback and hardbacks of sf and fantasy.
I've filled out our MtG calendar as best I can for now, including dates for the Avatar Prerelease. Details can be viewed at the Wizards Event Locator.

Welcome to the next chapter of Erimem’s epic saga!
Erimem: Legions of Mars is Book 3 in the Chronicles of Mars series — a licensed Doctor Who spinoff that blends thrilling sci-fi adventure, ancient mystery, and rich character drama.
Truly one of the greats. Obviously as a kid I knew him from the Superman movies. But there's so much more to see. One of my favorites is the Toby Dammit segment from Spirits of the Dead.
Feels like I missed October altogether. Just too much going on and lots of little bumps in the road kept me busy.
I wanted to catch a couple of newer horror movies and give a couple of old favorites another watch. Had to make due with some podcasts and audio plays during drivetime.
Here's one that's always in the rotation for me. Nigel Kneale's The Stone Tape. Influential and brilliant.
The Launchpad will be closed in observance of Independence Day (Thursday, July 4th 2024). Have a safe and happy fourth of July!
The Launchpad will be closed December 25th thru January 2nd. We'll reopen on January 3rd. We're not sure yet how comic deliveries will be affected during the week of Christmas and New Years. There could be a 24 hours delay in getting the new books checked in and on the shelf.
As always, when in doubt, Google is the best source for any changes to our schedule.
Our dates and details for FNM, Commander, and Prereleases can always be found on the Wizards Event Locator:
