Mage Knight Returns

From ICv2:

WizKids has announced that it will release a board game based on Mage Knight, and plans other releases in the deckbuilding and RPG categories for the property.  The board game will be designed by Vlaada Chvatil, who designed Dungeon Lords, Through the Ages, and Galaxy Trucker.  WizKids is targeting  a release date of Q4 2011, but says, "We'll release it when it's done; we're taking a quality first approach."

More Comics!

160 Linear Feet of Comics!
Our new comic wall has grown over the last few weeks as we've added another 40 linear feet of New Comics shelf space. This is part of our renewed commitment to carrying as wide a selection of new comics, from both mainstream and indy publishers, as possible. (As always if there's a title you'd like to see us carry, or a back issue you need, let us know and we'll see about getting it in.)

With the announcements from both Marvel and DC concerning the $2.99 price point (with DC moving ongoing series back to $2.99 and Marvel's new series starting at $2.99) this next year is going to be a great time to be a comic fan!

Hulk Heading for the Small Screen?

According to the Hollywood Reporter Hulk and Cloak & Dagger (!) are being developed as TV series. Looks like the comic adaptation frenzy is infecting TV too. Check out the Hollywood Reporter for a list of all the properties being developed.
Hulk is one of two projects that are priorities at Marvel Television, Marvel Studio’s TV division, which has been operating under the radar since Jeph Loeb took the reins at the end of June. The second hot property is Cloak and Dagger, which is being developed as a possible show for ABC Family.
Both are in the early stages of development; Hulk has a “showrunner wanted” placard around its neck, meanwhile, Loeb is meeting with writers to hear ideas for Cloak and Dagger.
