There's been a Post-Apocalyptic kick going on at The Launchpad for awhile (You should check out the Dead Run TPB!) and I'm always looking to scratch that itch. Thinking about seeing Book of Eli, picking up Fallout 3 GOTY edition, Borderlands, and am excited by Metro 2033 as well (see below):

Snakes in Lodi?

Did you know there was a "Snake Museum" in Lodi? I didn't. It's the Serpentarium ... Check it: www.snakemuseum.com

Avengers No More...!

From CBR/Robot 6:

Looks like Marvel's Avengers titles will be coming to an end in the wake of Siege. At least for a while. It looks like there truly will be a new status quo after Siege and there may be new titles starting, titles restarting and so forth. These one-shots will be Siege-related and The Launchpad will be offering a package for those as well.

Mark Strong = Sinestro?

Looks like Mark Strong is in final talks to play Sinestro in the GL movie. I think this would be a good choice, much better than the originally-rumored Jackie Earle Haley.  We also know now that Kilowog and Tomar-Re will be in the film. More at Cinematical.

Spider-Man 4 now teenage Spidey reboot.

From ICv2:

Variety is reporting that the studio, which could risk losing the rights to the Spider-Man character if it doesn't produce a new film, had a contingency plan in case of problems with the Raimi-helmed Spider-Man 4.  The plan involves a “reboot” script by James Vanderbilt that takes Spidey back to high school in a version that will feature all new younger actors and cost the studio far less to produce.  Avi Arad and Laura Ziskin, who have been involved in the production of all 3 Spider-Man movies, will be producing the new Spider-Man film.  The new teenage Spider-Man movie, which has no stars or director attached at present, is slated to debut in the summer of 2012.

Wow. Looks great. I've always liked Tommy Lee Edwards and his work on Millar's Marvel 1985 was outstanding. More details of Ross and Edwards Turf #1 at CBR/Robot 6.
